Quality of our materials

Every now and then, we receive questions from customers regarding our quality. We receive websites offering dolls or masturbators at rock-bottom prices.

The masturbators or dolls seem the same, but they are not.

The price difference can be due to the distribution of raw materials or the quality of raw materials.

Below, we will first delve deeper into the quality of raw materials.

The industrial market of sex toys can easily be divided into new and (partial) reusers.

By this, we mean that manufacturers either exclusively use new raw materials and process them from their original state (such as crude oil and powders), or you have manufacturers who largely work with the remnants of other manufacturers. They reuse the leftovers and add few high-quality raw materials, meaning the quality of raw materials from this second group is significantly low.

You can compare it to a restaurant that cooks a nice piece of meat for the first time, or the restaurant next door that grinds up the half-eaten piece of meat from the waste bin and cooks it again, causing the meat to burn, harmful substances to emerge, and the taste to be masked with salt, sugar, and E-numbers.

If you're looking for a high-quality TPE sex doll, you're probably aware of the many benefits this material offers. TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) is known for its realistic touch, flexibility, and durability. However, as mentioned above, it's important to be aware of the dangers of recycled TPE material offered at lower prices by other sellers. In this article, we explain why you should pay attention to the quality of TPE material and why it's worth investing in a superior quality sex doll.

The disadvantages of TPE materials at the point of recycling

  1. Shorter lifespan: Recycled TPE material can lose its original properties during the recycling process. This can result in reduced elasticity, strength, and durability of the doll. By choosing a doll of inferior quality, you run the risk of receiving a product that does not meet your expectations and wears out quickly, ultimately costing you more and providing a poorer quality experience.

  2. Contamination - Formation of toxic substances: Recycled TPE material can contain contaminants that are difficult to remove during the recycling process. These contaminants can be harmful to health and the environment. When buying a sex doll, it is crucial to check that the material is of high quality and free from harmful substances.

  3. Unknown composition - Random side effects or infections: The composition of recycled TPE material can be unknown, making it difficult to assess its quality and safety. Inferior quality TPE can exhibit unpredictable behavior and potentially contain dangerous chemicals. This poses risks to both you as the user and the environment.

Often, waste products from various new manufacturers are used, ground up, and combined into one homogeneous mass. To put it in perspective, you think you're getting a steak at a restaurant, but it's actually an emulsion of pork fat, pork, some beef, and chicken remnants.

  4. Health and safety risks: The use of inferior quality sex dolls can entail health and safety risks. Harmful substances can migrate to the user's skin and cause negative reactions. Moreover, cheaper materials can wear out faster, leading to a risk of tears or damage that can jeopardize the user's safety.

According to the customer above, our product quality is even too good ;)

Then you might still think: ''Why would a new manufacturer sell their waste materials to other parties?''

Good question; our dolls are always made from raw (fresh) and high-quality materials. Unfortunately, 5-20% of all production is rejected, meaning that if we produce 100 dolls, 5-20 units are rejected because they simply do not meet our high standards.

We sell these dolls to buyers to keep our production costs low. If we didn't, the cost price would be at least 5-20% higher, because the 5-20% of costs we lose due to rejection must be calculated into the cost price. Additionally, if we don't resell the rejected items but send them to the waste industry, there are also costs associated with processing that waste.

So we can choose not to resell the waste materials, but then our customers would pay 15-30% more than the current selling price.

So our reason for reselling waste materials: so we can keep production costs lower and our customers enjoy a more competitive price.

Below is a photo of the production hall where our residual waste lies, ready to be resold to parties who reuse them and thus sell at low prices, but also low quality.

Many of these waste materials are also often processed into fillers and simply put through a shredder, so there is no change in the composition of the material, because they are not heated, cooled or mixed with other materials.

The problems arise from the moment they are recycled/processed (heated, cooled, mixed etc.), there is nothing wrong with the dolls themselves, but processing a material that has already been processed, that is the moment when the dangers arise.

It's difficult to judge for yourself whether your product is made from waste material, but if you have several sex toys at home, you can often feel a difference in how soft different toys feel, provided they are all used equally. Products made from high-quality and fresh raw materials are many times softer to the touch than toys made from partially-recycled waste.

That's why our toys also feel so extremely soft, because they are made only from the best and freshest raw materials. If you have a sex toy from another brand that feels less soft or even somewhat like plastic or dry rubber, you know that waste has been used to make the toys. However, some manufacturers might work with plasticizers, making the toy feel soft(er), even though it's made with waste materials. But then you often see that the toy breaks, tears, or becomes brittle after a short period. Not to mention the health hazards that plasticizers entail.

Conclusion: When purchasing a TPE sex doll, it is essential to invest in a product of superior quality. Although the price might seem attractive for recycled and processed TPE materials, the potential dangers to your health and the product's quality outweigh this benefit.

Therefore, always choose reliable sellers who guarantee high-quality and safe materials. This ensures that you can enjoy a realistic and safe experience with your sex doll for a long time, without compromising on quality and peace of mind.

Not only you, but also we want you as a customer to be able to experience for a long time and responsibly how pleasant it is to stimulate and use your genitals.

That's why we specifically choose not to use low-quality products made from waste materials. Quality has its price, but that is nowhere near as high as an unhealthy or non-fully-functional body.
