Apply makeup on a sex doll using water-based or powder products; do not use oil-based makeup as it can damage the doll.
Work cleanly, in layers, and use a reference you can imitate.
Tips for beginners
✅ Start with powders; they are easier to apply and remove.
✅ Use soft brushes and cotton swabs for details.
✅ Work in thin layers to prevent smudging.
✅ Look for reference images or tutorials to replicate styles.
🚫 Do not use your fingers during application (can leave marks).
🚫 Avoid liquid foundation and eyeliner.
Step 1: Preparing the doll
- Clean the doll's face with mild soap and a soft microfiber cloth.
- Avoid harsh chemicals like alcohol, nail polish remover, or bleach.
- Let the face air dry completely.
- For a TPE doll, you can use a little baby oil/mineral oil to gently remove old makeup or greasy residues with a cotton swab or cloth.
Step 2: Preparing the makeup kit
Always use powder- or water-based makeup. Avoid oil-based products (can penetrate TPE and leave stubborn stains).
Recommended basic kit:
- Eyeshadow palette (large & small)
- Set of makeup brushes (various sizes)
- Lipstick (water-based, apply with a small brush). You can also use eyeshadow (in powder form) on the lips, which is often easier for beginners.
- Eyebrow pencil
- False eyelashes + glue (optional)
- Powder blush/bronzer
- Cotton swabs and soft cloths (alcohol-, oil-, and silicone-free)
Step 3: Face Shape and Blush
- Foundation is not necessary and is a waste of money; the doll's skin is already smooth.
- Use a soft powder blush to subtly accentuate cheekbones and contours.
- Always work in thin layers and blend with a soft brush.
Step 4: Eye Makeup
- Start with a light base eyeshadow color over the entire eyelid.
- Then add a dark shade in the crease for depth.
- For a soft look, you can create a smoky effect with a cotton swab.
- Avoid liquid eyeliner or oil-based pencils – these can cause stains or soak into TPE.
- If you want, you can remove the eyes from the doll beforehand to avoid spills.
- Attaching false eyelashes?
- Apply it dry first and trim if necessary to determine the right length.
- Apply a thin layer of eyelash glue to the lash band.
- Use tweezers to apply them carefully.
- Press lightly until they stick well.
Step 5: Lips
- First clean the lips with a cloth and remove any powder residue.
- Use a small brush to draw the contours.
- Then fill in the lips with thin layers of water-based lipstick or use powder eye makeup, which is easier to remove if it goes wrong.
- Do not use lipstick as it is often too greasy; instead, use eyeshadow to color the lips.
- Let the first layer dry, then apply a second thin layer for a fuller effect.
- Optional: a little bit of water-based lip gloss for shine.
Step 6: Eyebrows
- Use an eyebrow pencil or powder to add light accents.
- Follow the existing shape or use a stencil for more symmetry.
- Remember that eyebrows strongly affect facial expression.
Step 7: Nails (optional)
- Use regular nail polish or press-on nails.
- Make sure the nails are clean and short before you start.
- Press-on nails are handy if you like to change styles often.
Step 8: Finishing touch
- Check that all colors are blended neatly.
- Use a soft brush to sweep away excess powder.
- You can use a layer of Vaseline to help makeup adhere better and last longer.

With enough experience and time, anyone can create a result like the one above.
